Planner layout decoration ideas for The Happy Planner Classic. July 2020

At hot summer month it’s nice to make a planner layout bright, colourful and cheerful. And it’s easy to do so, because all plans are very striking and vivid: loads of colourful fruit, whole range of ice-cream flavours, birds, flowers, fireworks and other joyful summer activities.

Although it’s still better not to travel so far this summer, there are a lot of things you can do locally. Maybe you will like a few ideas from my July bucket list:

Grow vegetables
Have a BBQ
Go for a bicycle ride

Baby, it’s hot outside! That’s why I used so many ice-cream cones and sticks, cold lemonade and coconut water, and chilled fruit for July planner layout. A few random tropical flowers and beautiful toucan make me feel like I’am going to some oceanic islands. 🙂

To make the monthly planner layout a bit more practical I added flag and stars on some important days. And, of course, I didn’t forget about Independence Day 4 July!

Watermelon, ice-cream, birds. Birds, ice-cream watermelon. What can indicate summer better? Ooh, maybe the starry night sky only. I used a starry washi tape to remind myself to watch the stars at night.

Everyone needs support and motivation. I like to cheer myself up with with encouraging quotes and lines. This week it’s: “Make today amazing”, “Let’s do this” and “If it makes you happy, do it”. It really helps me to remember that happiness is the most important than anything.

I’m going to keep myself busy this week with some house work and work tasks. I used checklist strip and cleaning and shopping icons for this.

The weekend is going to be really great! We are going to celebrate The Fourth of July. 🙂

Summer – it’s time to grow plants. Any plants. Fruit, vegetables, greens, flowers or succulents. 🙂 They are associated to really hot Mexican desert, tropical islands and cozy home at the same time, so this week’s going to be dedicated to cacti and succulents.

A To Do list with a checklist strip open this week on Monday. To add structure to Tuesday and Friday, I placed lined full box stickers. Wednesday is a Pay Day and I marked it with a flag. One dark frame is added for Thursday appointment. And, finally, coffee time is on Saturday.

The same tone hearts, washi tapes and sign “Perfect day” stickers make the colour theme of this week.

Let’s add some magic to this week! Magical rainbow unicorn and kawaii sweets are the main elements of this weekly layout. Additionally to the unicorns, there are Birthday stickers on Sunday, but Birthday Party is going to be next week.

I love these frames with flowers. They are really highlight the information in it. It become so visible and very clear. It’s great to use the frames for meetings and appointments. Traditionally, a To Do sign, checklist strips, a Pay Day flag and house work icons make this layout more functional.

Yay! It’s party week! The Birthday party is at weekend, but I wanted to add the celebration mood to the entire week. Happy lamas, gift boxes, garlands, air balloons, cakes are everywhere on this weekly layout.

To prepare for the party I made a couple of task lists with heart shape checkboxes.

It’s always good idea to give some time to yourself. A cup of coffee and reminder to be happy on Monday can give energy for the whole week.

My favorite week. With diamonds, sweets and hearts, the pinky-blue colour theme makes this planner layout so cute.

I decided to try make a To Do list at the site bar for whole week. It works better for me, when I have a full list of tasks should be done and pick one task at the right time.
