Planner spread decoration ideas for The Happy Planner Classic. August 2020

The last summer month planner spreads are going to be as bright as possible. At this month I plan to absorb all hotness and vividness of the summer, preserve it and use it during the cold season.

Maybe you will like a few ideas from my August bucket list:

Even though we still cannot travel where we want, it’s possible to dream about it and add some travel mood to the planner. A suitcase, map, camper van remind us that one day we will travel again.

To make the monthly planner spread a bit more goal oriented, I added arrows to help me being more focused on my goals (despite their romantic look).

Watermelon, oranges, flowers, birds and coffee – this is what the first August week is going to be for me. The colour theme is hot: from yellow to red, with a few dark spots of full box stickers. The most cheerful time is going to be at weekend, and that’s why the weekend sign is in rainbow colours!

The washi tape, full of flowers, was made from printable papers. I just cut the shape and size I need for this planner spread.

I’m going to keep myself busy during the week with some work tasks. I used task list strip, full box To Do and couple of full box frames to highlight my tasks.

Reflection about the week events and what of them I liked the most is planned for the weekend. At the end of the week, it’s good to recall the moments you can be thankful for. As research says, appreciation of what you already have brings more positivity in your life. Then why not to become a bit happier by writing down good things every week?

I choose the blue-pink colour theme for this planner spread to make the week productive, but with no pressure. Loads of lists for tasks, side-bar To-Do list, frames for meetings and appointments are mixed with watercolour strokes and delicate wildflowers.

Everyone needs support and motivation. I like to cheer myself up with encouraging quotes and lines. So, the big grey-blue full box sticker with a beautiful lettering speaks to me – “Have a great weekend”. I definitely will!

Pink and black – the classic combination. Using it you will always get a beautiful planner spread. Solid dark frames, soft pink washi tapes and really bright spots of flowers make this planner layout accurate and fancy at the same time.

Traditionally for this month, there are lists of goals, tasks, To-Do and appointments to keep me busy and focused. “Dream. Plan. Do.” motivation sign calls me to take an action.

Apart from work load, I planned some time for myself: coffee with friends and reflection about thing I grateful for in this week.

The last summer week. It’s a bit sadly, but we have the colourful golden autumn ahead! To welcome it, I made the colour theme of this layout full of gold. Gold strokes, spots, frames and gold-black washi tapes make a core composition of this planner spread.

It’s always good idea to give some time to yourself. A cup of coffee on Monday can give energy for the whole week.

As it’s known, acknowledging even the smallest wins can boost your mood and energy. For small win celebration I use gold cup and medal stickers to praise myself for my achievements, or weight loss reward stickers for my weight loss progress.
